Koinly Purchase with BTC incorrectly showing as total withdrawal

Wallet: Bitcoin 2 (Bitcoin (BTC))
Transactions: 2
Imported with: API

Describe the problem:
I purchased the Koinly software for 2021 and 2022 using BTC. The purchased seemed to go through some Coinbase intermediary payment portal and I used funds in my BTC hardware wallet to execute it. The Koinly transaction history now shows the entire balance of that hardware wallet as withdrawn (0 BTC), but this is incorrect, because I have verified that everything except the purchase cost remains with the hardware wallet. Why are these transactions not being reported correctly?

Which exchange/wallet is this regarding?
Koinly (possibly through Coinbase?) and a Trezor hardware wallet

How did you import data into this wallet?
whatever API Koinly uses to look up the public address and sync transactions

What have you tried to fix this so far?
I tried manually adding/deleting the transactions but I can’t seem to get it to report the correct total in that wallet. I’d prefer that the API do the calculations correctly.

Hello!

Alex from Koinly here

It sounds like you have synced using the public address, but since BTC is UTXO it will create a new address for each transaction.
What you need to do is find the XPUB key from your wallet/ledger and import that instead.
We have more details on that here:

I hope this helps!
