Describe the problem:
Koinly says a withdrawing = gain, but it was internal – how to fix?
I have a ‚withdrawal‘ of 2.834 btc on 23rd october 2017 from my Bitstamp.
Koinly says i made big profit here, obviously buying something.
But: I sent this to my own wallet. I am 100% sure, cause these were all my bitcoin and i still have the same amount. (But not on this wallet anymore)
I looked at it on my bitstamp and it said
Transaction ID (TXID): e7a6340f54051d10783fc3794b30c8fee20ad19f4f9cebeed060c40977290757 ((eig wall))
→ ‚eig wall‘ means ‚my own wallet‘, i apparently saved it as such or made a comment
So… i am gonna have to find out which wallet this is, so i can add it as my own.
How can i do this?
So, how to find out?
I look at blockchain explorer. Paste in the transaction id.
Ok, it says
‚This transaction was first broadcast to the Bitcoin network on October 24, 2017 at 12:13 AM GMT+2. The transaction currently has 188,225 confirmations on the network. At the time of this transaction, 601.07442707 BTC was sent with a value of $3,524,255.65.‘
→ wtf. I don’t understand. Perhaps i sent this to an exchange, could this be?
How do i find out where it was sent to, so i can add it as my wallet, because it was internal
Which exchange/wallet is this regarding?
I withdrew from Bitstamp, but where i sent it is the question
How did you import data into this wallet?
I did csv export from Bitstamp and importet into koinly
(after seeing the apis not working good)
What have you tried to fix this so far?
see above in problem description
Ok, i found when i deposited again, gonna find out more
Ok, with the transaction i found the bitcoin adress and i could import that into koinly, looks good, coool
