Transferring BTC between wallets

The amount of BTC transferred is larger than what was actually sent. I assume this is because of transaction batching.

Transferring from Ledger to Coinbase

Synching

The transfer into Coinbase is shown in Koinly as a deposit. I change this deposit into Coinbase to a Transfer transaction from my Ledger BTC wallet, modifying the amount of BTC transferred to the amount that was actually sent, including network fee. This creates a corresponding transfer transaction in my Ledger BTC wallet. I delete the original Send transaction (with the incorrect amount) from my Ledger BTC wallet. This all seems to work fine, except now the balance in my Ledger BTC wallet is less than it should be, even after I synch. What am I doing wrong?

Hi @wuffinlaw

If you import your Ledger BTC data correctly using your xpub, you will not need to do any manual adjustments on the transfers between wallets.

How to get the xpub from different wallets (BRD, Ledger, Jaxx, etc.)

If you have used the CSV import method, or if you have added a single address instead of your xpub, manual transactions may be needed.
