Pancakeswap Liquidity pool

swapped BNB and CAKE to Pancake LP tokens and back with different amounts. How can i add these transactions to koinly so that my balance shows correct.

Consider this an upvote for supporting showing Pancake Swap liquidity in our portfolio value/balance automatically. A huge feature would be calculating impermanent loss accurately, like YieldWatch does. Koinly would rule the entire Crypto portfolio world by adding this functionality and also adding apps.

I would also like for pancakeswap pools and farms to be included. I’m not sure how to get this data included (yet) if at all.

Koinly should be importing these txns automatically, so you shouldnt have to do anything.

@koinly this isn’t automatic yet though is it? @Teukka describes adding to a liquidity pool and later removing. For one thing the LP tokens will show no value by default.

Can you please add support for https://pancakeswap.finance/ the pools and farming.
Thanks

Kindly add support for PancakeSwap Liquidity Pools and Farms. This is the largest LP staking on Binance Smart Chain (I think?!). Using this everyday together with MetaMask or SafePal wallet.

I am thinking to go for a paid plan, but support of PancakeSwap would be a must criteria for me… is thery any plan to include it in the near future?

I think it supports them now with new BSC update but sadly it still appears like the staked tokens never existed in your wallet, so you can’t see change in value of the underlying staked tokens. Even though ive disabled deriving value of the pool tokens.

OMG this need to be fixed ASAP

I’m not sure why this isn’t the case. In the meantime, Yieldwatch does this pretty well, and it included pancakebunny and other liquidity pools as well.

The problem with koinly not supporting it is that it essentially looks like my coins disappeared, and my cost basis and unrealized gains are thrown completely out of whack.

I have the same issue where I have IL. Basically I’ve lost X tokens of one side of the pair and gains X tokens on the other side. What is the best way to reflect any losses/gains and token counts?

This issue has been opened for months now, with pancakeswap one of the most important liquidity pool providers. Koinly team pls look at this, cannot be such a difficult problem to fix. Considering another product because large % of my transactions are Cake LP related

Agreed with the above. +1

Not including pancakeswap will be a deal breaker for me also. It needs to be included in Koinly.

Hi Everyone,

Koinly will automatically sync your BSC transactions, including all liquidity transactions. Liquidity transactions will be labelled as ‘Liquidity in’ or ‘Liquidity out’.
The cost-basis and the gains will be tracked correctly.

There are however 2 things that Koinly does not do (yet):

  • Koinly does not track the value of your LP tokens. This means that your dashboard will not show the correct market price of your portfolio since the LP tokens will not be included. As previously mentioned, the cost-basis will be tracked which is the important thing. We are working on a solution for this.

  • Koinly can not currently distinguish between a regular withdrawal of LP tokens and a farming/staking transaction. This can throw off your cost-basis so it’s important to assignt the appropriate labels to these transactions.
If you are sending LP tokens to a farm, you will see a withdrawal in Koinly. You should tag this as ‘Sent to pool’ which will tell Koinly that this is not a disposal.
If you are receiving LP tokens back from a farm, you will see a deposit in Koinly. This transaction should be tagged as ‘Received from pool’.
Assigning these tags is usually the only action necessary to allow Koinly to accurately track your gains and cost-basis.

Best regards,
Petur

For Liquidity out there isn’t even an option to select received from pool. Also Liquidity in doesn’t allow you to click send to pool. All of the liquidity in and out are recording huge profits which shouldn’t be the case. Only thing I could think of doing is clicking send to pool but i can’t even do that

Hi Petur,

There appears to be an issue with these newly labelled LP token transactions, I’ve noticed one issue with Automata (ATA) token where currencyid’s appear to be mismatched. Posted a bug at BSC Liquidity In/Out tags reporting incorrect CurrencyId for ATA
