Describe the problem:
Hi, I’ve recently taken some liquidity out of CAKE-BNB farm on Pancake Swap, which I use through Binance Smart Chain Chrome extension wallet, which is synced to Koinly via the public address. I have then exchanged the liquidity for the tokens, and synced the wallet on Koinly to see the transactions. However, there’s an issue with it - it shows that the “LIquidity out” transaction has cost basis of 0, so the whole transaction is a profit. This is of course not correct, as I had to put in the tokens to add the liquidity in the first place (the “Liquidity in” show transactions show correct costs). This is important, since the income from providing liquidity is taxed where I live. Is there any solution? I could turn off the option to “Realize gains on liquidity transactions”, but that would lead to incorrect taxes.
Which exchange/wallet is this regarding?
Pancake Swap using Binance Smart Chain Chrome extension.
How did you import data into this wallet?
Via public address.
What have you tried to fix this so far?
I don’t think there’s anything I can do, since the automatic transactions are not editable.
