New Import doubled all transactions

Team,

When using Koinly exports, a recent import duplicated all historic records for ADA. I have hundreds of transactions and have no way of undoing the last import to review the format. How can I pull back the state of my wallet to the state is was in prior to today’s import? This is critical because as a result of the no onchain sync, a lot of manual effort was made over the last year to ensure my records were accurate. If there was a way to identify all records added strictly by the last import, I could go in and remove those manually but I don’t believe there is a way.

Can anyone help?!

Thanks!

Very sorry to hear about this issue. I had a similar issue with duplication of transactions in my Tezos wallets. On 2 occasions when I re-synched my wallets in the usual way, all of my Tezos wallets uploaded duplicates of previously uploaded transactions, many of which had been manually merged, labelled and described with considerable time and attention required. Duplicate transactions were in original form, i.e. not merged, labelled or described. Duplications covered all XTZ transactions over several months, i.e. many hundreds of transactions.

I worked with 2 different techs/devs from Koinly Support and they could not provide any explanation for the issue nor did they have a suggested approach to easily clean up my transactions. The only solution I could come up with was to use TzKT (a blockchain scanner) to identify duplicate transactions so that I could permanently delete the duplicates. Needless to say it was a lot of work. I then re-synched these wallets via API and the duplicates have not reappeared since. I suggest you contact Koinly support via email or use Intercom messaging to create a ticket to get help.
