Ledgerlive wallet is not allowing me to get transactions with public key

Describe the problem:
I tried everything to download my transactions, I’ve tried getting the public key and its invalid, I’ve tried to see if I can get the transaction history and thats not working, I really need help

Which exchange/wallet is this regarding?
Ledgerlive nano x

How did you import data into this wallet?
The way the system is telling me to do it, connect blockchain, get the public address, save, chat is not there to help

It depends on which blockchains you want to import. Everything ETHEREUM and BSC etc is simple and uses the public blockchain as described by @Mark_DesLauriers

The minute u want BTC, Lightcoin, XRP etc you have to do it differently:

you have to go to ‘Advanced Settings’ in Ledger Live and use the token’s xpub or zpub keys instead

I have a Ledger Nano S. I imported transactions on the Ethereum blockchain as follows:

  1. On Koinly app select Wallets
  2. Select Add Wallet/Exchange
  3. Select Blockchain
  4. Select Ethereum (ETH & Tokens)
  5. Enter your public wallet address in the field and click on Import
  6. Let Koinly import your wallet transactions via API.
