I am confused regarding the workflow for using TurboTax online with over 1000 disposals.
It appears that the TurboTax Online csv created by CSV is aggregated in my case as one would expect. If this is uploaded into TurboTax Online, the aggregated data are imported into an 8949 form. The “Date acquired” and “Date sold” reported are meaningless/erroneous as this is aggregated data. Is this acceptable?
Also, it remains unclear if a separate printed form 8949 with each individual transaction along with form 8453 also needs to be mailed to this IRS if the aggregated csv is used in TurboTax. Can anyone please clarify?
