I paid for the 2019/20 plan that is well under 1000 total transactions.
My dashboard says I have exceeded the total number of transactions allowed on my account.
It would be but that is for later tax years not the plan for the 2019/2020.
The coding for the website should be changed to allow all history to process. If this was the case I could do previous years tax before paying for the following years. System isn’t set up properly and is very annoying after having to pay out money and the website says you need to upgrade your plan.
I can’t even view my trades for that year and verify that they are worked out correctly by the system. Most trades just say “calculating”.
I’d like to support koinly, and do future years tax. I shouldn’t have to fork out to pay for multiple years at the start to get around the max transaction lock out on the accounts.
Same issue here. I just wanted to see my capital gains for 2021 (to confirm Koinly was calculating my data correctly) but my dashboard stated the same “exceeded total # of transaction” statement. I ended up paying for the additional transactions and the warning went away and 12+ hours later Koinly appears to have finished calculating my gains.
The issue I face now is that previously my total transactions was 37000. Now it’s showing 9616. It’s not clear how or why that changed/reduced and I’m waiting to here back from support team. BTW - the calculated capital gains do look correct for all tax years so my thought is Koinly may have grouped/consolidated my transactions by day (i’m a high frequency trader).
The reason why we have that 10k transaction count limit is because the calculations take a lot of processing power and if we didn’t put limits in place the platform would be much, much slower for everyone using it.
When you go above 10k transactions you will have to get a plan that can cover all of them.
I’m sorry for the inconvenience! But this system is necessary to keep the performance as stable as possible.
For example there is a common mistake that is made by some users when they try to sync their cro (crypto.com) wallets. If they use the wrong address it will end up with Koinly trying to sync in hundreds of thousands of transactions that isn’t related to the user at all.
If we didn’t have limitations in place these kind of mistakes would cause the whole platform to grind to a halt.
@OUTLK For your situation it’s possible that we were able to aggregate some transactions, we try to do this as often as possible.
If you have already sent us an email or chat with this then please just wait for us to get back to you.
The response times are a bit longer than usual right now due to an increased amount of requests coming in, but rest assured that we will help you ASAP!
I hope this explanation helps a bit to understand why we have these systems in place
