What’s going on? This is still an issue. I cannot import a Nexo CSV automatically; it still requires manual correction.
EDIT: I happened to still have an old CSV export from Nexo from before the change. I compared the old to the new, and there are extra columns and renamed columns. I figured this was why Koinly couldn’t use the format, so I modified the CSV of the new format to match the old (using Excel), imported it into Koinly, and it worked! Here’s what I did:
Column modifications from new format → old format:
- “Transaction” column → leave as-is
- “Type” column → leave as-is
- “Input Currency” column → rename to “Currency”
- “Input Amount” column → rename to “Amount”
- “Output Currency” column → delete this column
- “Output Amount” column → delete this column
- “USD Equivalent” column → leave as-is
- “Details” column → leave as-is
- “Outstanding Loan” column → leave as-is
- “Date / Time” column → leave as-is
Fortunately, the format of the columns did not change, but two columns were renamed and two new columns were added. Fixing these issues and then saving the changes (as CSV, do not save as an Excel doc) allows successful import into Koinly. I hope this helps someone.
