I am encountering some issues with syncing a few wallets and would appreciate some help or advice. I have connected multiple wallets both centralized exchanges and DeFi wallets to Koinly, but a few of them particularly MetaMask and KuCoin do not seem to be syncing all transactions properly.
For example on my MetaMask wallet, several DeFi transactions like staking and liquidity pool interactions on Uniswap and PancakeSwap either show up incorrectly or not at all. On KuCoin, deposits and internal transfers are sometimes duplicated or missing completely. I have already tried re-syncing and even manually uploading CSVs, but this leads to further inconsistencies in my gains/losses report.
Has anyone else faced similar issues? If so, what is the best workaround—manual edits, tagging certain transactions differently, or sticking with CSVs? Also, does Koinly have a preferred format for custom DeFi transactions to ensure they’re categorized correctly?
