I make use of a Ledger device as well, and in case of BTC you have to import your xpub key instead of the public address. Your Ledger device generates a different public address to receive coins each time, but each one always derives based on your account’s xpub key. So, if you would like to catch all possible transactions of your BTC Ledger account, then insert that key into your Koinly account.
PS: Your BTC Ledger xpub key can be found by navigating to “Accounts → Choose your Bitcoin account → Click on Edit account on the upper right icon → Open the ADVANCED dropdown menu item → Copy the xpub value shown there”, or follow the official Ledger support link found at EXTENDED PUBLIC KEY (XPUB)
I tried that yesterday
Do you copy the entire thing or just the address inside the "”?
Xpub says invalid on both.
Hey Amber,
Did you make sure to follow up our instructions for the Ledger integration?
If you have double-checked your xpub and are still experiencing this issue, it’s best to reach out to our support team. I advise all other clients dealing with this issue the same, so we can investigate from our end.
I finally got it to show SOME funds but not the total amount I have in there…
