Hey there, I have an issue with my tax report from 2021. I just wanted to rebuild my complete Koinly tracker and now I stuck with 3 “misssing purchase” messages on my Kucoin wallet.
I tried the following things to fix the issue already_
- search for duplicates (found none)
- checked if all deposits, withdrawls and transfers are correct (found no issue)
- deleted all wallets on Koinly and requested and imported the data again (issue still there)
- I checked if I received the entire account history of all wallets/exchanges (seems to be complete)
I really get crazy about these issues, since it higher my taxes for about 7k. Anyone an idea what I can to to fix that? There must be a purchase history for these exchanges.
And I really did export every detail from Kucoin and from every other wallet.
Hey @Chris_Geo
Seems like your import from Kucoin is missing buys for USDT - did you purchase USDT with FIAT on Kucoin?
2 ways forward -
-
Query with Kucoin, why they arent including purchase data for USDT in your records
-
Add a manual Deposit for the missing amount of USDT (its stablecoin so its obvious what was paid for it)
If you choose to add the deposits manually, its best done by cross referecning your USDT data in Kucoin, do this at your own risk!
Hey, thank you. Well, I did not purchase USDT with FIAT on Kucoin, at least not in 2021. So, I think it must be a mistake in the export. I’m just worried to add it manually, since it’s important for tax authorities. On the other hand I do not want’t to pay more taxes as I have to.
@Ali_Koinly
Hey, I was reviewing the csv files as an spreadsheet in excel for the TUSD orders missing purchase history. It seems there is a mistake in the amouts of the seperated orders (order splitting) and the consolidated spot order spreadsheet.
I apologize for that I can’t display the figures in the right format, but the values should show the difference anyways. What I need to do in that case?
