Hey,
I imported my txn (api for binance and coinbase) and auto sync from blockchain for several onchain wallets.
The txn go back to 2019, but I already got all my tax statements for 2019-2023 sent in and audited and there some kinda unique taxations involved. Long story short, I know which coins I had in which wallets at which cost basis at 1st january 2024 and want to start there.
So my plan was to delete all txn prior to 2024, then manually import the txn where I bought the coins I had in my wallets beginning of 2024 and calculate my gains and taxes**. Can someone walk me through how to do that? I cannot even delete old txn, as it says they are transfers and cannot be deleted.**
Also, will the API continously re-add the txn again?
And final question: I assume koinly treats wrapping eth, e.g. trading ETH to WETH as a taxable event, but for me it is not… What would be the best way to do that?
