KRAKEN ; Access denied, check your API keys / EGeneral:Permission denied

Describe the problem:
I connected my kraken API but later while importing it gave this error. I have also added the import file to complete. So it got transactions but now you see the sync button in red and this text behind it. Access denied, check your API keys.

I also see: Access denied: EGeneral:Permission denied.

Which exchange/wallet is this regarding?

How did you import data into this wallet?

What have you tried to fix this so far? tried to delete and re-upload it several times. Did everything according the manual.

Apperently this states on the website:
Permission denied errors are returned when the API client is attempting a task for which the API key does not have permission. For example, if an API client attempted to retrieve the account balance using an API key that was configured to allow trading access but not account management access, then the permission denied error would be returned. You can review your API keys and their settings (such as their permissions) via the Settings → API tab of account management. You would need to make sure that the API keys being used by your third party apps have all of the settings and permissions that your apps require.

BUT… i have done and checked everything according the tutorial… :frowning:

I was getting the same error. I would get several hundred transactions, but many missing and then get the access denied error.

I had looked at the instructions and watched the embedded video, so either I missed or it is not in the video, but I had missed a permission!

If you read in the text beyond the video in the instructions: On the same page, under funds, check the following boxes: query funds, query ledger entries, query closed orders & trades and export data

I had missed query closed orders and trades. Once I added it in Kraken to the API permissions, deleted my Koinly Kraken wallet and readded with API, more transactions (not sure if all yet) and the access denied error went away
