Koinly unable to read / process KuCoin Trading Bot transactions

Biggest issue I have for taxes is the kucoin trading bot, thousands of transactions causing hundreds and hundreds of missing cost transaction red flags on my account which is screwing up my capital gains very badly, there is no way plausible to do these manually. It appears this has been a problem for years now despite KuCoin allowing you to download .csv files for all trading bot transactions, however Koinly is still unable to process these .csv files and unfortunately it’s the only way to process these transactions. It’ll be nice if Koinly can update their system and have support for these trading bot .csv files in the future.

Unfortunately don’t think there is nothing I can do besides manually insert which wouldn’t be a problem if I had a small amount of transactions, but I have several thousands and there is just no way to do that.

I will raise this with the team internally. It would also be good if you had a CSV we can use as an example.

I am having similar issues. For FY 2021, I was able to get trading bot CSVs by emailing Kucoin customer support, however they have been extremely unhelpful this year and just told me that I could download everything from their regular CSV export page (which does not actually include Trading Bot transactions). As a result I have missing cost bases for a lot of spot transactions as well as missing capital losses.

Thank you for sharing your experience with these issues. I’m so sorry that the KuCoin support team has been unhelpful with providing the necessary transaction data to move the ball forward. I know this sounds like a banal suggestion, though we’ve seen users have success by contacting their support a few times to move beyond the stock line of downloading everything from the export page.

If you haven’t previously mentioned that the trading bot data is not included in the downloadable CSV files, please do emphasize to their team that you need this transaction data. Again, I’m sorry that obtaining this information is not an easy road.
