Koinly Account Suddenly Does Not Exist (Username/E-mail Isn't Recognized)

Hello,

I recently tried to log onto my Koinly account and it gives me an error message saying that “Account with this e-mail/password was not found,” even though both are up-to-date.

When I attempt to reset my password under “Forgot Password,” I do not receive an e-mail with the link to reset.

Has anyone else had this problem before and how was it resolved? I contacted the support desk as well, but was wondering if it’s a problem that shows up on occasion with other people

Hi guys,

There are no issues on our end atm but there are a couple of things that could be going wrong.

  • Check your spam/junk folder in your email
  • The email that you originally signed up with might contain a typo. In this case you will need to contact our support at support@koinly.io as they should be able to locate your account.

Could it be that the email login is not recognized if signed up with Coinbase or Google button?

Actually its quite bad if Coinbase decides to deactivate an account for whatever reason, then this Koinly tax account could no longer be accessible. IMHO it should however still be possible via the connected email address. Would it?
