Hello,
a long time ago, I made a transfer from Binance to my VET Wallet.
I can see the incoming transfer in Koinly, except it’s not coming from my Binance wallet, but from another Binance adress which according to a Google Search is a “Binance Hot Wallet” :
0xa4aDAfAef9Ec07BC4Dc6De146934C7119341eE25
=> This adress seems to be used for many people, not just me, so I can’t add it in Koinly as one of my wallets.
What’s the proper way to deal with that situation in Koinly ?
How do I let the system know it’s my own VET coming back from an alternative source I don’t really own ?
Apparently it wasn’t auto matched : for some transactions (VET or others), I had to manually change withdrawals to transfers, it wasn’t recognized by Koinly for some reason, not sure why.
Fixing it manually, setting it from withdrawal to transfer : will it be a problem, accuracy-wise ?
I was also having some issues with binance in regards to missing transactions until I realized that binance handles converting between coins differently. I had some BUSD and thought I bought BTC with them but apparently this was a conversion so it was not showing up in the transaction history. I had to go to spot orders -> Buy Crypto History -> Convert and then import these conversions by adding them as transactions trade making sure the date matched with what I had imported already so koinly to match them together.
