Tired to delete/create and sync several times.
I am a new user, trying to sync my Gate.io wallet. I have created APIv4 key in an attempt to sync (as I did with my other wallets) and I am receiving the above error - ‘access denied, check your API keys’ - please advise how i can fix this?
Have tried multiple times with APIv4, allowing wallet access read only, and read and write permissions. Consistently get an error message on Koinly, “Access denied, check API key”.
How to fix?
Looks like Koinly has no answer to this problem.

Any update? Gate.io is pretty big.
Confirming sync still doesn’t work between Koinly and Gate… APIv4 flat out fails with access denied. APIv2 appears to sort of work but does a terrible job of retrieving transactions accurately.
This looks to have been first reported back in May, resolved in June without ever being resolved, and continues to be an issue in October…
I can’t even do a CSV without errors. Any other ideas?
Sync APIv2 just failed for me. Worked 2 days ago. Set up APIv4 which gives Access Denied when trying to snc. Imported CSV which caused lots of errors. Up an till last working sync Gate has always been fast and accurate. Whats wrong?
Now seems to be working. I deleted Gate wallet in Koinly (a bit worrying) and then created a new one with new APIv4 keys and allowed API access to wallet in Gate. This solved all the problems. Think it was to do with wallet access that needed to be allowed in Gate account.
Was getting the same Access Denied message. Created APIv4 Keys and it worked perfectly
I did not have to delete the wallet, just updated the keys
Hi everyone!
As some of you have noticed we now have Gate.io API v4, so if you previously used v2 you should edit the wallet to use v4 instead, the v2 will not work anymore.
