The Gate.io API still does not work. I have made a new key and it still does not work. I have tried this at least 5 times including granting read and write privileges.
I am using an APIv4 key. This used to work and when I posted this earlier, I was told the problem was fixed. However, it has never worked again.
Any help with a fix would be greatly appreciated.

Can import from CSV file OK… but that will mean continual manual update for ‘live’ tracking
To expand, using APIv2 (read-only or not doesn’t matter). It does load maybe 5% of transactions, and for everything else just doesn’t… API works perfectly for other apps like GoodCrypto
I have used APIv4 and it works until it doesn’t. I do not understand why this keeps happening. When I try APIv2 I get incomplete data. The APIv4 works fine with other tax aps so this should not be happening. Can someone from Koinly please address this? Gate.io is a significant exchange and it seems this problem is being ignored. A progress update would be nice.

Could it be because you have to whitelist the Koinly api IP addresses?
If that is the case, I am unable to find IP addresses from koinly, which are making API requests to Gate.io.
Would love to know the answer to this as well. I reached out to Gate. io and sent me to gateio (gate.io) · GitHub. I have no idea how to use it as I’m not a developer. Perhaps someone from Koinly can answer this? Or someone with more technical knowledge can report the problem through the link Gate .io provided?
Guys, use APIv2 key, remember to check the small box API key read-only. Could someone else confirm this works?
Edit: only transfers can be synced and not trades so this is still a problem to be fixed
