Describe the problem:
I recently imported Binance.US Fiat Deposits because the API will not sync the Fiat Deposit transactions. When I did so, my Capital Gains tax didn’t change. I had $19,000 in Fiat Deposits. How do I know if the Fiat Deposit I imported is calculating in correctly?
Which exchange/wallet is this regarding?
How did you import data into this wallet?
Via an .xlsx file
What have you tried to fix this so far?
Nothing as I don’t know how to.
This is occuring with my newly created account with Koinly as well. What’s the deal Support? NO answers on this after a month? Guess I should go use another service for my taxes. (Yes- I checked the website for my Binance.US Fiat deposits and they do NOT show up)
I would like to take a closer look at the account and troubleshoot this for you. It may be that we need you to obtain a different file from Binance.
The CSV file import method is better for many traders. This is because the Binance US API is limited in the data it returns, so transactions like fiat purchases may not be included. Can you all confirm that the file you have was obtained using the method outlined below?
