Binance transactions are missing purchase history

Does this mean that it’s not taking into account the $164.29 USB I spent on transactions? I’m not sure whether to delete these 5 transactions or not. sorry for being a noob

Describe the problem:

Wallet: Binance (Binance)
Transactions: 41
Imported with: API

  1. API does not allow access to: Fiat purchases, Mining income, BSwaps
    ---- Margin borrow/repayment history older than 6 months is not provided
    ---- Crypto purchased using bank / credit-card needs to be added manually
  2. 5 transactions are missing purchase history
    ---- Missing 164.29782403 USDT between 2021-01-31 20:49:35 UTC and 2021-04-12 13:36:17 UTC
    ---- Total gains due to missing cost basis: 164.29 USD

Which exchange/wallet is this regarding?

Binance

How did you import data into this wallet?

Auto sync

Hi Lukcycharms_74,
I am new to Koinly and I have quickly realized that Binance.us does not relay Fiat deposits and purchases with fiat deposits. I had to manually make .csv file with ONLY the Fiat Deposits/Purchase (To avoid duplicates ) and add it to my Binance.us wallet data AFTER you synced all the transactions with API. It does calculate all the follow up transactions correctly as long as it is done right. Hopefully it helps.

Sorry Can you break that down a bit… I may be just being silly but I feel I’m having the same issue… I can see my GBP deposits Not my USDT. Which I converted rather than classic trade…
How do I show this within my Koinly wallet as stating missing deposits for all my transactions

If I understand right you deposited USDT (Crypto assets) to your binace account and koinly showing the missing cost basis/d for that USDT, correct? You may have to sync the source of your USDT with koinly (another wallet or exchange that you bought or stored that USDT before transferring to Binance).

But if thats not the case, see your "Buy and sell history’’ tab and NOT ‘trade’ or ‘order’ history. If you see transaction on Buy/sell/covert tabs that are not showing on koinly, you have to manually add it to koinly. I personally import through .csv file so all the values and time stamp is correct. Let me know if you not sure how to make .csv.

I tried re-syncing the API, but still with the same problems. I will look into exporting data from the trade page and use this to compare against the data in Koinly.

I have a few missing transactions for Binance. Did you use the API to transfer and then add the CSV files for purchases only, or did you add CVS files for all transactions from Bianace and not use the API? I was thinking that I should manually add CVS files from Binance instead of relying on the API, but am not sure how to get all the transaction information in Binance?

Hi Leeane,
I tried both way. If you do API sync and than .csv import you may have still conflicting/duplicated transaction unless you have few transactions only that you can manually edit/delete . Also surprisingly enough when you export .csv from binance, it does not export details for FIAT deposits and purchases on the .csv for me (I might be wrong, but cross check on your end also). So this is what I ended up doing.

  1. First get all trades synced with API
  2. Now download .csv file from trades page from Binance site
  3. Use this as template and manually add all the missing transaction ( Likely from ‘‘Buy/sell/convert page’’). I deleted all other trades to avoid duplication.

Worked for me like a charm.

Try to Delete all Binance wallet > go to settings > lower most part " Delete Cache" button and try again syncing API.

Hello, you have the possibility to provide us with a CSV pattern with a correct import column for converted binary transactions as a pattern for download. If so, I would be very grateful. Nice greedings from Austria
