Koinly is missing support for an ever increasing number of crypto projects. I have fastidiously entered three years worth of crypto history into Koinly and spent a huge amount of time going through all my transactions and making sure it is all up to spec. I was planning to pay for the reports and to get transaction histories out of Koinly etc, seeing it as a great and valuable tool to keep track, except now:
You still don’t support Fantom (FTM) despite this being a major upcoming blockchain with loads of defi stuff happening on it, and people having requested this many months ago.
You don’t support SGB or FLR
You have multiple redundant references to certain coins I hold such as QRDO and CSWAP, which in turn either have no price feed or return an incorrect price feed.
CSWAP actually goes on to be detected differently in different wallets and represented by different instances of CSWAP, therefore making the automatically imported transactions not play nicely with one another.
Like I said, I WANT to pay for your service, but the service needs to be complete and correct, or it’s useless to me.
Are you guys even still working on adding stuff to Koinly? And if so, why are some of these basic things not being addressed despite an increasing number of people on the discussion board adding their comments that they too need this added support?
In the last 2 months, our dev team has doubled in size and we are still looking to hire more devs
This will allow us to add support for more integrations much faster. Just last week we added support for the CRO and ONE blockchains and we added support for SOL a couple of weeks ago.
There are still a lot of popular blockchains that we have yet to add but the next few months will see a lot of new integrations
Fantom is a highly requested integration and will be added very soon.
SGB and FLR are also on our to-do list but I don’t have an ETA just yet.
Could you tell me which wallet is reporting an incorrect CSWAP? We could then fix that quite easily
Thanks for your reply Petur, it’s good to hear work is happening. Is FTM also on the to do list?
Both QRDO and CSWAP aren’t playing nicely. QRDO is an ERC20 token, CSWAP is BSC.
QRDO returns no price feed and there are three instances of QRDO, only one of which has the logo and a price feed… but that’s not the one that matches up to what is detected in my ethereum wallet.
With CSWAP, same kinda issue. Multiple redundant versions of CSWAP available for selection in your currencies… one type of CSWAP detected by scanning the BSC wallet, another detected in transactions etc.
We are using this address for QRDO and it seems to be correct:
0x4123a133ae3c521fd134d7b13a2dec35b56c2463
However, it was only fixed recently so we might have had the wrong address previously.
It also looks like our address for CSWAP is correct but also recent.
To get the correct version of the token you can do one of the following:
Delete the incorrect tokens with no logo and manually create the correct ones (only recommended if you have a few transactions like this)
Delete your wallet and re-create it (a good option if you haven’t made any manual changes. If you have fixed a lot of things manually then it’s better to use the next method)
@Petur_Koinly I’m afraid if I go deleting all my transactions for CSWAP I’m going to create a mess of confusing work for myself again.
Binance smart chain wallet on metamask will not pick up the correct CSWAP by syncing, it picks up the blank logo one. Why do you even have three CSWAPs anyway? This is the issue. I’m not going to go through that process because it messes it all up.
That should now be fixed so the API should now be syncing the correct version. This is why I asked you to delete and resync the transactions. You can try deleting just one of them and resyncing the wallet to see if it works.
If you have already fixed it all manually then there is no need to do this but the API will sync the correct version from now on.
