[Coinspot] Token Redenomination (DREP : DREP and NPXS : PUNDIX)

Koinly is not recognizing the token re-denomination of DREP token (100 : 1) and NPXS token to PUNDIX token (1000 : 1). I no longer hold these tokens but both tokens show up in records on Koinly. I have examples of the process and dates they occurred in a word document if needed.

I have tried editing the csv file and balance the buying and selling price and the token amounts so that at the end it shows I no longer have these coins as I have sold them. Doing it this way does not seem correct so I went back to the API importing method and was hoping for some clarity on potential upgrades to Koinly to recognise token re-denomination.

Hi Richard,

This is because Coinspot doesn’t include these migrations in their API so you will need to add these manually.

This is not so difficult, just go to your Transactions page and do the following:
Click on Add Transaction and choose ‘Trade’.
You can then change the type from ‘Trade’ to ‘Swap’ which will tell Koinly that this is not a taxable event. You can also set the date of the migration.
You will then need to set the currencies and amounts that were swapped. For DREP, we have a “DREP (old)” and a “DREP (new)” and we have both NPXS and PUNDIX listed.

Let me know if you need any further assistance with this - I’ll link some articles as well:
