I gave up on the API hope and went back to csv downloads -
BUT But but … am having a REALLY WEIRD issue with the transactions … Koinly took this on last week to look into - but they seem like all other outfits at the moment extremely understaffed and super busy. Do hope they are still ‘there’ … Tax year end is looming and one REALLY needs to have this sorted sooner than later.
BUT I ask;
Is anyone else currently experiencing this with their celsius csv imports that the transactions are showing a correct number of txns … but if you check them off - there are some showing twice and some missing completely - yet if you delete the wallet and re-import … the same occurs but with different coins. I even set up another free account to import into there and same thing occurred!
Is this JUST me or are others seeing the same thing occurring - it appears that the dashboard is relatively correct… but the transactions are wrong, dating back months!
Please comment either way - I find it helpful.
i do an API sync with celsius wallet and i am seeing missing transactions from last week. Some of my last weeks transactions are showing up and rest are not .
I was dealing directly with Koinly over this back n forth … then last time I heard from them was 18th where they asked for my csv file - I sent that on 19th but sadly - their message shows as unseen and I have heard absolutely nothing from them - I do hope they are working upon it! or at least they are still working upon something!
When I recently re set up all my wallets it was then that I checked my transactions and found this terrible duplication and missing txns actually went right back to 8th May 2020…
But even though the transactions are wrong - I suspect the dashboard is being relatively honest! Is your Dashboard pretty close to being correct? and how far back does your duplication/missing txn go back? I think it may have only started to occur recently but seen as I was doing a fresh set-up mine has gone weird for that long length of time!
Pleased you responded chugsteruno - I was starting to think it was only my celsius csv that was corrupted.
my btc and usdc numbers are off. Thats what pops up under the celsius wallet as a orange warning. USDC i can understand as the missing amount is the feb 19th USDC transaction not being imported for some reason.
not sure my BTC is off …
I’m in the process of bringing my manual records up to date, so it has highlighted that my CEL token in the dashboard is understated.
But good news I’ve been contacted by Koinly team and they are indeed working upon this bug - so that is gr8 news.
Because it is inconsistent with with what it duplicated and misses out (each time you delete wallet and re set up) it’s going to be a difficult one to fix.
i like koinly and i think it is the best one out there for crypto taxes. Agree it is not perfect but we can dig into most transactions and fix as needed. I spent a lot of time trying to get my defi yields in my metamask wallet corrected as it was in binance chain but it was worth the effort as i could understand the whole big picture. It also helps to dig into the etherscan or bscscan explorer to dig deeper into your metamask wallet transactions
