Can't Merge: Same TxID, same Date, same Amounts

I have a transfer between two wallets that is showing up as a Withdrawal and a Deposit, triggering a tax event. Both have been created from the API and have the same transaction IDs, date, amounts, etc.
I tried to merge the two transactions to become a Transfer, but Koinly seems to refuse.

Both wallets are Blockchain BTC wallets with valid addresses.

I have tried to delete the wallets and re-try, but it came in the same way.

What can I do to convince Koinly that this is a transfer between my two wallets?

One more similar instance:
A Transfer (small test amount) from Kraken to Binance is also refusing to merge. In fact, when I try to manually edit one of them to fix it, Koinly tells me “counterpart txn already exists, merge both txns instead of editing this one”. Ironically, that is exactly what I tried first!

It tagged the incoming amount as an “Airdrop” - likely because it is a small amount.

Any suggestions?

I think I found the solution!

When the receiving Tx is tagged as an “Airdrop”, it won’t merge. I untagged the transaction, and this allowed Koinly to merge!

You could Soft Delete the 2 API transactions and enter the Transfer transaction manually. I have had to do this on one or two occasions.
