XPUB address for IOTA

Describe the problem:
My IOTA transactions do not import

Which exchange/wallet is this regarding?
IOTA network, Ledger IOTA wallet

How did you import data into this wallet?
I entered the Receive address into the API form, but it has never once succeeded in syncing

What have you tried to fix this so far?
I have manually imported the transactions, but this is not satisfactory

Hi,

Could you check if your address shows any transactions on this block explorer:
https://thetangle.org/

If there are no transactions listed then the address might not be valid/active.

Best regards,
Petur

Please can you upgrade IOTA support, I find that a Firefly wallet is not importing data from the tangle. Checking https://thetangle.org shows the wallet balance associated with the public key. Koinly can’t pull in the data.

Same issue here–commenting to keep it alive

Hi
I am still waiting for IOTA support on Koinly.
I have transferred over to IOTA-Chrysalis, and still cannot import data.
I am also staking IOTA and receiving airdrop SHIMMER and ASSEMBLY tokens - neither of these are supported in Koinly yet - is this due to be corrected soon?

@koinly . +1 to the comments here. I’m trying to find the equivalent of an IOTA xpub address to use with Koinly so I can create one wallet that includes all receiving addresses it has generated. This is for transactions that occurred on the legacy IOTA tangle. The alternative to create one IOTA wallet in Koinly that has multiple addresses (separated by commas) does not seem to be possible.

Note: I still have the seed, access to the account in trinity, and I can see the addresses plus transactions that were used on my exchange. What is the expected approach with an IOTA wallet that generated new receiving addresses for every transaction?

Hey @TechTangle and @Robin_Noble . How do you see the public key for IOTA (namely if via Trinity in legacy tangle, but also interested in Firefly. I still have a seed and access to Trinity, I just have no idea where I can see a public key, given new addresses are generated for each transaction.

We are now using https://explorer-api.iota.org for IOTA imports.

Koinly does not synchronize my firefly IOTA wallet. The transactions appear well on https://explorer-api.iota.org/

@User1

That’s weird…
Could you share the public address that you are trying to sync?

Hey Petur,

I’ve noticed a few threads on here discussing a lack of support for IOTA. I am also having issues with IOTA wallet data on Koinly.

  • I transferred MIOTA from Binance(dot)com to a non-custodial wallet.
  • My Binance(dot)com data on Koinly displays the transfer including “Tx Hash” with the “Tx Destination” that includes my IOTA non-custodial wallet address.
  • My IOTA non-custodial wallet address has been manually added to Koinly and has been synced.
  • I have queried my IOTA non-custodial wallet address on the official IOTA Tangle Explorer and my MIOTA balance is accurately displayed on the explorer.
  • Koinly is not detecting the MIOTA balance in my non-custodial IOTA wallet.

The explorer link you provided is no longer available but the official explorer for IOTA appears to be https://explorer.iota.org/mainnet.

If you have any updates regarding support for IOTA to provide it would be greatly appreciated. I have noticed that the Koinly team is working to add AVAX, CELO, and other coins soon and would like to know if I can expect IOTA support to come before the spring of 2022.

Thanks.

Same issue here. IOTA API still not working

Hello!

Alex from Koinly here

Could anyone that is having this issue please share their address with me or via our email hello@koinly.io

If the transaction is showing on IOTA Tangle Explorer but not being imported to Koinly then I will have to pass the issue along to our developers so they can check.

Thanks everyone for the help and feedback!

Best regards,
Alex
