Wrong Coin being found for VAI

I have a coin in my ethereum wallet - VAI
The VAI token I have is this contract: 0xd4078bdb652610ad5383a747d130cbe905911102

And the coin that Koinly is automatically tracking is on Binance Smart Chain with contract address: 0x4bd17003473389a42daf6a0a729f6fdb328bbbd7

What can I do so that Koinly doesn’t assume I have more gains than I actually do (the ethereum VAI is worth nothing).

Thank you!

I have exactly the same problem.

There are 2 VAI tokens on Koinly for the same token. Vai and VAI Stablecoin are the same. Vai has price info but VAI Stablecoin doesn’t. The latter one is detected on Binance Smart Chain transactions.

When you buy VAI from Binance, everything works perfectly. When you mint at venus.io or transfer it to Binance Smart Chain, well it uses the one with no price info. There is no way to link these 2 tokens manually. The only option is to enter the price manually but it’s hard for things that happened months ago.

Here are the VAI token that I mentioned on Koinly: Koinly

Also, the cross-chain token price issue exists for many tokens. When you transfer an ERC-20 to BEP-20 the link between is broken and the BEP-20 token doesn’t have price info. E.g. BAND, Reef, etc. This needs a fix otherwise calculations freak out.

It would be good to hear something about the topic from the support team.
