Same token different blockchain

Hello all

I have an ERC-20 token which is also bridged to Polygon under a different contract, however essentially they are the same token with the same price action.

Is there anyway to force Koinly to ‘see’ the Polygon token as the ERC-20 so that it combines the data together and gives a price?

Thanks

Ian

Hello!

Alex from Koinly here

If the token is listed on Coinmarketcap then Koinly will automatically pull in a price for it.
But if it’s not, then you will need to have a transaction where you purchase the coin using an asset that have a cost-basis in order for the ERC-20 token to show as having a value in Koinly.

If it’s not showing at all in your transaction history then we might have to add it as an asset.
If that’s the case please send us an email at hello@koinly.io

Best regards,
Alex
