Hi @Ruben_JD_MP
This depends on whether the token is listed on data aggregators like Coinmarketcap and Coingecko or not.
-
If listed on CMC or CG:
Koinly gets its prices from data aggregators like Coingecko and Coinmarketcap. If the token is listed on either one of these platforms, check our Markets page to see if the correct token exists there. If yes, use the Change Currency feature to fix it, and if not, share the link (to CMC/CG) with us and we will be able to add the price for you.
- If not listed on CMC or CG:
If the token is not listed on either one of these platforms, it means it is notsupported in Koinly, but you can still manually override the price as per the guide below:
Market prices for XYZ are missing
If the transaction is a Trade, just merging the two transactions would be enough.
**How to merge/split transactions manually**
By updating the price of the token, you will give the transactions the correct cost basis which is what Koinly needs to calculate your gains on these transactions.
At the moment, the dashboard only shows the market value for tokens we have a price feed for. If a token does not have a market price in Koinly, it will be shown as 0 on the dashboard. This does not affect tax calculations if your tokens have a cost basis.
