Matic on trust wallet and binance (BNB chain) not recognized

Describe the problem:
When I transfer MATIC on the bnb bep2 chain (address starting with bnb1…) between trust wallet and binance, Koinly thinks it’s 2 different coins being deposited or withdrawn and when I merge them it creates a swap. One has the correct Matic logo (on binance) but the one on trustwallet has a gry logo called MATIC. Both were imported by API.
Since we can’t modify the details of the api how can I correct this mistake?

What have you tried to fix this so far?
merging the 2 deposit and widthdrawal but it creats a swap

Finally I think that tagging the exchange transaction as swap should solve this for the time being.

According to this: Transactions in Koinly Explained | Koinly Help Center

they should be tax free.
