Describe the problem:
I used a dummy wallet to try out this problem I’m seeing on my real wallet.
- I minted LP on an ICHI farm using 0.2 wFTM
- I directly redeemed the LP back into wFTM+USDC.E (that’s how this farm works)
Koinly could not calculate the price of the LP, which is somewhat ok since I can edit it. So I did that. I took the value of the wFTM at the minting time, which was 1.36kr, and entered as the market value of the LP token according to this image. I expected the cost to be automatically updated on the liquidity out row. Because it wrongly thinks the cost is 0 which causes a 100% gain (1.36kr) on the liquidity out value. The gain should be very close to 0 in this case.
But no, Koinly then converted the 3 “in-rows” to an “exchange event”. It should have been an “liquidity in” event. But I can’t change the transaction type, I’m only allowed to change it to “swap”, which is also wrong. But that’s not the real issue. The real one is it can’t connect the LP in with the LP out. The LP out still has cost base 0 as shown in the second image. Which still results in a 100% gain on the transactions. All my LP handling of the ICHI farms are handled this way which creates an insane amount of tax since it thinks I’m making 100% gain on all transaction values. I seems there is no way for me to even correct it manually, except for deleting the transactions.
Which exchange/wallet is this regarding?
The LP farm I used was the top one here (WFTM):
https://cl.equalizer.exchange/
It also seems koinly uses the same LP name for several of those farms, even if the LP token is completely different. Both the WFTM farm and USDC.e farm are called ICHI_VAULT_LP. Wouldn’t that wrongly mix them up as well if you trade both?
How did you import data into this wallet?
A Fantom test wallet
What have you tried to fix this so far?
Manually editing the transaction worth of the LP I minted.
