Hi,
I have generated a tax report from Koinly and my “Total current year capital gains” is more than $10000.
As it is more than $10000, I am trying to fill CGT schedule but getting error every time like below,
“The ‘Total net capital gain’ on the Capital gains tax schedule must equal the ‘Net capital gain’ amount above the schedule.”
For example, my koinly report is as follows,
Total current year capital gains : $11,736.87
Net Capital Gains: $0.00
This is your profit after deducting a capital loss of $14,112.19
Net Capital loss: 2375.32
I am trying to fill in the above value in CGT schedule but think, I am not filling them in the right place.
At the moment, I am putting “$11,736.87” in “Capital Gains” under “Current year capital gains and losses” but it throws the following error,
The ‘Total net capital gain’ on the Capital gains tax schedule must equal the ‘Net capital gain’ amount above the schedule.
Appreciate if anyone could point me on how to fill the correct values.
