Gains/Losses on Swaps & Manually selecting UNI-V2 tokens

When will Koinly be introducing the update that records nil gain/loss when you tag an exchange as a swap (in the UK using the shared pool basis)?

Also, is there any update on expected timing on when we will be able to search and select UNI-V2 tokens (for example) by their contract address, rather than scrolling through a long list with no indication what they relate to?

Previous suggestions were that an update was expected in the 1st week of January, which does not seem to have materialised.

I don’t think putting the coin into UNI-V2 is technically a swap since they are not really the same token.
Once you close the liquidity, you will wind up pulling out more UNI-V2 than you put in due to earnings. The only way to correctly track those earnings is to leave it as an exchange. I crunched the numbers and it works out correctly based on my actual earnings in the end.
If you do it any other way then how do you explain the extra DAI (or WBTC, etc.)?
The only tricky item was that some parts of the transactions were pointing to random addresses and I had to manually merge those transactions for it to come out correctly.

I wasn’t suggesting tagging UNI-V2 transactions as swaps. It was 2 different questions: 1) Tagging swaps such as ETH to wETH; and 2) Manually selecting UNI-V2 tokens on other transactions

It was probably slightly confusing putting both queries in one post.

I think ETH to wETH would be an exchange. A swap would be renaming the crypto. This is because you are technically exchanging ETH for an ERC token (wETH) that trades 1:1.

I agree with the UNI-V2 search. We have to go through each wallet transaction history manually.
