Describe the problem:
The transaction of stakingETH from my Ledger wallet to LIDO in exchange for STETH has been labeled an “Exchange.” On the [Staking] help page there doesn’t seem to be any advice for this situation. When I go to edit the transaction, the only alternative offered is to label it as a Swap. This does solve the problem of having to claim capital gains on the transaction, but is this an accurate label?
