Error syncing to Binance wallet

Describe the problem:
I am receiving the error below when syncing to my Binance wallet

“Service unavailable from a restricted location according to ‘b. Eligibility’ in https://www.binance.com/en/terms. Please contact customer service if you believe you received this message in error. - 0 (451)”

The last successful sync was 2-3 days ago

Which exchange/wallet is this regarding?
Binance

How did you import data into this wallet?
API Sync

What have you tried to fix this so far?
re-tried the sync periodically

Same issue here.

Not sure if Binance broke something, or they blocked additional countries and Koinly have servers running in those countries…

Either way - hopefully it gets fixed soon!

Tried to resync several time, KYC all good but still problem 2:

Imported with: API

  4. API does not allow access to: BSwaps
    ---- Dust conversions older than 1 year are not provided
    ---- Only Futures from the last 3 months are imported
    ---- Convert trades before 2021-01-01 are not provided by API
  5. 1 transactions are missing purchase history
    ---- Missing 8.60687102 USDT on 2022-07-05 20:11:20 UTC

Sigue sin funcionar la API de Binance. Cuando lo vais a arreglar? no podemos estar asi o tendremos que buscar otra plataforma

Hi All,
Just a update from myself (not Koinly), this morning (between 8am - 9:3-am UK time) I have been able to successfully sync the Binance wallets using the API sync for both my wife and I.

Please fix asap, binance is leader in crypto industry, you can’t afford to let this issue hang around too long.

Same here as well, API has not expired, account is active and KYC verified…

@all and Koinly support, I just received a “help request” by user Direso_atf who I just blocked and reported to Google Forms, for contacting me as an official Koinly personnel asking to help me by providing my wallet’s seed phrase (lol, neverthless that we are speaking of Binance)?

Wife and I are getting the same warring message using Binance TAX API.

Lots of people around the world are getting it using Binance API, so its not just koinly users.

At the moment there is no fix - its down to Binance to fix.

According to Binance support, it’s down to Koinly to fix :frowning:

Pretty sure Koinly is running it’s API crawler from a server located in the US. Which is now banned as stated in Binance Terms of Usage.

Koinly must fixed this. They need to run the queries from outside the US.

I have just done a live chat with Binance and it does seem to be down to Koinly getting api data from a restricted country/location. Their solutions are 1. download a generated file from Binance (have to wait and see if this works) 2. reach out to Koinly (which I have done) 3. don’t use koinly and go elsewhere.

Pretty miffed as I had an old api which was working and deleted it as Koinly recommended me to do so and I need to file my cap gains return and hand it over to my accountant tomorrow. :frowning:

Binance’s point of view - certainly from the chat person was that this is a Koinly issue.

Sorry to be insistent, but Binance is the biggest exchange in the world and we can’t afford not to synchronize our transactions for so long.
Koinly, you must put this bug at the top of your list.
