Describe the problem:
The API does not deliver the saldo of SOL Bitget Earn Account, only the Spot Account is delivered. Thats why Koinly says the saldo does not match to the calculated. Calculated Saldo is correct.
Which exchange/wallet is this regarding?
Bitget
How did you import data into this wallet?
Bitget API
What have you tried to fix this so far?
Hi @soeflinger
Thanks for reaching out.
If the calculated balance of SOL is correct, then there is no issue.
When you sync your wallets, two types of balances are shown. Reported Balances and Calculated Balances.
Reported balances are the balances that the API reports but in some cases, these balances can be wrong - most commonly when staking (as some APIs don’t consider staked assets when reporting the balances), when you have open orders, or when there are manual transactions,.… These balances are only for visual (no effect on the reports) and you can see them on the wallet holdings and the dashboard.
Calculated balances are the ones that Koinly calculates based on the imported transactions. These are the balances that matter as they are the ones you will see on your tax report and you have to make sure are accurate.
So if the calculated balances are accurate (as in your case), you can simply enable “ignore reported balances” in the API settings (explained in the article below) and then sync your wallet for Koinly to show your Calculated balances:
API sync > Ignore reported balances
You can also toggle “reported balances” off on the dashboard.
