Do I need to report 1099B and 1099MISC if koinly accounts for them?

Describe the problem:
I received some 1099MISC and 1099B, and also some platforms didn’t give me one. If I consolidate it in koinly, do I need to report the above forms or just whatever koinly gives me? Would they be double counted? Does koinly generate a 1099?

Which exchange/wallet is this regarding?
Any

How did you import data into this wallet?

Hello!

Alex from Koinly here

If you receive the 1099 automatically from some platforms then it’s easiest for you to just send those to the IRS directly without putting them in Koinly first.

However if you want them in Koinly then you can sync the transactions via API or CSV like usual, and then use the calculations from Koinly to fill out your own 1099 form.
Koinly won’t generate one automatically but it has all the values needed to fill it out.

So it’s up to you to decide which method you prefer because they are both acceptable

Best regards,
Alex

Hi Alex, Thanks for your response. I would like to input the transactions into Koinly and use the calculations to support the 1099B from the brokerage. However, these transactions then also show up in the 8949 that Koinly generates. Is there a way to exclude the transactions that are reported separately on the 1099?
