Describe the problem:
I have multiple transactions across different exchanges, that I assume WILL be reported on form 1099b.
Some disposals or trades happened in a non custodial wallet, not reported on form 1099. This means that I will have to manually compile all of my different form 8949s with the accurate transactions, adjustments, and proceeds.
Please, you have to make it possible for users to submit our 1099’s to the koinly software and let it automatically aggregate transactions with the right boxes selected. Either that, or allow us to add a tag to transactions that belong in box a, b, or c and let the software calculate the adjustments and proceeds.
If not, what is the real use in paying for the service? Unless you guys tell me how to fix this within the software, or you allow for us to provide our 1099s or label transactions so that it outputs the correct forms and checked boxes, this is going to be a nightmare.
I used to be able to chat with customer service, I guess not anymore
Which exchange/wallet is this regarding?
Multiple exchanges, coinbase, uphold, kraken and non custodial wallets, some supported and not supported.
How did you import data into this wallet? API when possible, csv when not, and manually when neither worked. My portfolio is accurately reported in koinly.
**What have you tried to fix this so far?**there’s nothing I can do except like I said, reconstructing my entire tax forms to accurately reflect what was reported to the IRS and what wasn’t, which is going to be a nightmare.
