Defi Kingdoms (Defi game)

Describe the problem:
This is a Defi game, but not all transactions is included

Which exchange/wallet is this regarding?
ONE and JEWEL

How did you import data into this wallet?
API

What have you tried to fix this so far?

The standard transaction history seems to be imported correctly, but there is other trades that dont.

There seems to be a fix (on the “tax report”, on the tax report page.
They seem to have another kind of history here, i think this is what i need to make it work properly?.

They have 3 different download options. But none works with Koinly
FIFO
HIFO
LIFO
(Have no idé what it stands for. But none of them work

Hello!

Alex from Koinly here

FIFO, HIFO and LIFO are different cost-basis methods.
FIFO (First In, First Out) means it will calculate your capital gains using the oldest available purchase whenever you make a disposal.

So for example if you bought 1 ETH for $500 on Jan 1st, another 1 ETH for $1000 on January 5th and then sell 1 ETH on Jan 8th for $1500, then you will see a profit of $1000 because it will use the first ETH you purchased for $500 to set the cost-basis.

HIFO stand for Highest In First Out, and LIFO is Last In First Out.

So if they have three different versions you just need to chose the one that corresponds with the cost-basis method that your tax agency wants you to use. FIFO is the most common one.

Since we don’t have support for their CSV to automatically import it you will need to change the formatting of it so it looks like one of the templates found here:
https://help.koinly.io/en/articles/3662999-how-to-create-a-custom-csv-file-with-your-data

I hope this helps!

Best regards,
Alex

I talked with the creater of this tool and got this answer:
“hey, I looked into this before but the problem is that they do not support a wide range of dfk tokens since they use coinmarketcap or coin gecko. so even if we formatted it in that way,it would fail to import”

So what is the next step?

@ Alexander_Koinly

What would be the next step?

@Alexander_Koinly Is there any update?

Hi everyone!

Thank you for your stellar patience with us :raised_hands: We do have a Canny for this if you’d like to receive a notification for when the team has completed their work. At this time I don’t yet have an ETA to share.

In the meantime, here are instructions on how to fix it (this will require manual work):

“change the two “send” transactions for the tokens going into the LP to be trades, with 50% of the received LP token amount being assigned to the “receive” end each of the two trades; 2. soft-delete Koinly’s automated deposit transaction for the LP token; 3. Tag the automated LP staking transaction as “sent to pool” - and vice versa for pulling out of liquidity”

Have an awesome day!

Just wanted to keep this thread alive- support for DfK would be much appreciated. Because it’s a hosted token with settlement in One, none of the transactions import properly. Should I post this ask somewhere else? Thanks!

Hi @Charles_Burton,

Thank you for keeping this light on, man :raised_hands:

We are currently working on integration for DeFi Kingdoms. I don’t have an ETA for when this will be completed, though I would encourage all who are interested to add your vote to this in the Canny feedback system, so you’ll get a notification when the team has it ready to go!

In the meantime, it would be a case of adding your DFK transactions to Koinly manually or using a CSV file. I know some users have had luck using Lila’s Ledger to generate a CSV that will import into Koinly. It only uses your public wallet address. :+1:

Have an awesome day!
