BUSD buy issue in the tax report

I used Binance Exchange API to import the data. And it’s showing some “missing purchase history issue.”
It looks like I didn’t buy the BUSD coin the right way. I traded AUD to BUSD by selling AUD to BUSD as they have a pair AUDB/USD so I had to sell AUD to buy BUSD.

But now Koinly looks confused with the transaction. It can’t find BUSD purchase history and shows issues on all coins that are purchased with BUSD pair. For example, it says “Missing purchase history for 629.343 BUSD”

How can I fix this problem so I can get an accurate tax report?

Hi there!

It sounds like maybe you have been using the “Convert” function in Binance?
If so, that’s why you’re seeing these missing purchase history, because the Binance API doesn’t export those “Convert” transactions.

Luckily it’s not very complicated to fix this!
All you have to do is export your transaction history to CSV and then delete all transactions that doesn’t say “Large OTC trading” (those are the conversion transactions). Then you just upload that CSV to your Binance wallet in Koinly and it will only sync in those missing “Convert” transactions.

You can check our guide here on how to generate the CSV in Binance:

I hope that helps!
