Both synced and uploaded CSV, unable to rectify duplicates

Describe the problem:
I both added a csv and added sync to my Coinbase account. And then it appeared to roughly double my transactions, but not in a clear manner. The total taxable transactions doubled, but individually it was difficult to parse which were duplicates because of the use of Advanced Trading.

Which exchange/wallet is this regarding?
Coinbase

How did you import data into this wallet?
Both CSV and sync

What have you tried to fix this so far?
I started deleting many of the transactions (duplicates and “non”-duplicates) so that I could then re-sync the wallet. After re-syncing, the deleted transactions did not return. I do not see a way to un-delete the transactions.
I tried to archive the Coinbase wallet so that I could create a new Coinbase wallet, but this attempt failed as creating a new Coinbase wallet still referred to the old archived wallet. I have been hesitant to completely delete the old wallet. Renaming the old wallet didn’t appear to allow for the creation of a new distinct Coinbase wallet.

Why did this happen?

In the past, I have always used the manual CSV upload method, but watching the video this year, they mentioned advanced trading was wonky. So I thought if I synced, it would replace the transactions from 2024 with the correct ones. I was wrong, and now I have a situation where I had difficult to identify duplicated transactions, and then deleted them, unable to get them back.

Hi @moo_cheese

We advise against mixing API and CSV files into the same wallet as it results in multiple issues as well as duplicate transactions.

I suggest you recreate your “Coinbase” wallet using the auto-sync method only. If you have advanced trades that the API does not import, then try the CSV import method only.
