Binance cost basis wrong

I have multiple issues with cost basis on Binance, It will show transaction of X coin bought for eg $2100 USDT and when sold back to USDT a day later for $2300 it shows a gain of $800. How is this correct? I kind of understand the Shared pool idea but surely these should be standalone transactions?
