Best way to import and reconcile?

Looking at starting out with Koinly officially now as I’ve been playing around with it for a few days/weeks. What do you find is the best way to reconcile transaction errors? Is it for each account/cex/dex as you import them or to just import the whole lot and try to do it all at the end?

Pros and cons of your experience for either method would be appreciated?
Thanks

Hey @Kelv_KW , glad to hear you are getting started with Koinly!

We would always advise first adding all your wallets at once and then starting to troubleshoot. Missing wallets will almost always mean extra gains/losses that were in fact simple transfers to that missing wallet . Deposit from the missing wallet to a registered wallet will also induce wrong acquisition cost, since by default, in the absence of a trade or a transfer, Koinly assumes you acquired the asset at that day’s fair market value.

Once you got everything uploaded/synced, there are multiple ways to troubleshoot your tax report, I would suggest starting here How to ensure your Tax Report is accurate | Koinly Help Center.

However if you are having any difficulties, do not hesitate to get back to us (some screenshots always help ;)) at support@koinly.io and we will look into it for you

Cheers!
