What is current best way in Koinly to know how Old the Coins are that i am about to Sell? (how can i know before i sell if i will have to pay short term speculation tax (coins held less than a year)?

Describe the problem:

I wanna sell some crypto i have.
I plan to eg sell 1 btc.
I wanna make sure i don’t pay the higher tax in my country (when i sell coins held less than a year).
So i would like to know that before i actually sell it and only realize it ‘after the fact’, after i cannot take my actions back.

Is there any way to do it?

(I have different btc on many different wallets, it’s very complicated)
I was thinking: perhaps i can sell 50usd worth of crypto, and then see how Koinly sees it. But this would be no guarantee the whole 1 bitcoin sell would also be ‘over a year’.

Hey mate, did you find out anything about this?

make a dummy manual sell transaction for some btc and see how koinly spits out the gain/loss. If satisfied then delete the manual transaction and do the actual “sell”. easy peasy !!

Worked great, Thanks! (i did buy the yearly tax report just to be sure also but this would not have been necessary i guess)

Just tried this myself! Thanks for the tip!

One question I had though is that it seems like it’s limited to showing 25 transactions. Is there a way to see the remaining transactions?

where do you see a limit of 25 transactions ? i think it shows 10 transactions per page and has the list of all transactions by page numbers. i have like 3000 transactions and it shows it all so not sure what u referring to.

Also if u go to dashboard in koinly it shows all P&L till date. Some coins are messed up - those are for which koinly can’t find the price. As long as token is listed in coingecko it gets the price else u need to do it manually which is a pain .
