Transfers show as profit

Hi, I have link coinbase and binance exchanges, the transfers between exchange and wallet calculate high proft. it appears as transfer and every thing seems correct. other thing is that I cant find some coins to add their wallets like SHIB, MCO, MIR, ARMOR, etc. how can i add them? honestly I never tought tax season would be a nightmare for me.

I have the same issue. P&L’s are calculated based off of all my transfers…

Same here. The transfer of coins from my one metamask wallet to my other metamask wallet shows as a gain in profit for the fee I paid. It won’t let me change it so it’s not considered a gain from the fee I paid.

Paying transfer fees or any fees using crypto is a disposal of the crypto and triggers a capital gain or loss for tax purposes in most jurisdictions around the world. Having said this, Koinly does provide an option in Settings called “Treat transfer fees as disposals?”. This feature is turned on by default in most jurisdictions but you can turn it off if you don’t want transfer fees to be taxed at the date the fee is incurred.
