Transaction Fee as Cost Basis For Airdrop/Rewards

Describe the problem:
For airdrop and reward, the transaction fee is currently being classified as a cost. This should really be added as the cost basis of the received token.

  • There isn’t an option in settings that let you set the transaction fee as the cost basis.
  • There isn’t an option that would let you adjust the cost basis for the API imported transaction.

What have you tried to fix this so far?
Well, we can delete the “costs” imported by the API and create a fake transaction of the received token with the amount of 0.000001 (you can’t use 0). This seems a bit shady to add to the tax report and tedious to do at scale.
