Describe the problem:
I’ve got a BSC token transaction for STARSHIP that is being incorrectly associated to a different contract also called STARSHIP. Seems like they are matching based on name instead of the contract hash which can’t possibly be correct but that’s the only similarity I can see.
The Koinly dashboard is reporting that I have 3 Billion dollars in unrealized gains based on 4.5 Billion tokens at $0.72. That clue let’s me know they think i bought the starship token that is worth that. The problem is that token has a max supply of 21 Million tokens I believe.
Here is an image of my dashboard:
So it seems the association is based on the name, and not the contract hash.
This is the contract for the token I traded:
0xdB4194d6b588c2B7f210BbB9ecD2f82B27f5ADa7
transaction hash for when I bought in: 0dda7d0fa1f7b4aa81ad30fd7871fbc16728c7e579768a316c2084c4eaf32626
transaction hash for when i sold:
0xfc5bd59dc2e6b8b95e4c41d8bdc9f7147b9f6c1aa05c3d4b3ff1ec14be0b9935
I think this is the STARSHIP token that is being associated incorrectly (telling me I have 3B dollars)

Which exchange/wallet is this regarding?
Trust Wallet import
How did you import data into this wallet?
auto-sync
What have you tried to fix this so far?
Checked the transactions on bscscan to make sure I wasn’t a billionaire… ![]()
I’ve tried to add the token back to my wallet to see the tokens and I can’t manage to make that work despite having the contract hash. I added it, but the 3B tokens that should be left are not showing up. ( I don’t think they have any value, but I’m just focused on the accounting since they should be present.)
It seems that the number of tokens is being detected correctly based on the data i see in bscscan, but the token that’s associated is making it seem like I have money that isn’t there.
Thanks in advance for your guidance on getting this corrected!
