So, how can we track transactions when Staking VVS on vvs finance?

Describe the problem:

Hello,

I’m Staking VVS on VVS finance, but I’m unable to show all transactions from when we transfer cros to the defi app till when staking vvs on vvs finance.

The trip I’m doing for Staking vvs is as this:

1- transferring cro tokens from crypto .com main app to crypto .com defi app.

2- transferring cros to cronos beta using cronos bridge in the defi app.

3- swapping cronos with VVS tokens on vvs finance.

4- staking those vvs tokens on the pool on VVS finance.

So far, I have only 2 wallets on koinly for this cro and vvs trip:

1- a wallet for the main app (crypto .com) which is obvious and easy to add and is synced by .CSV.

2- a crypto .org chain wallet (address starts with cro taken from the cro address on the defi wallet app).

When doing those 4 steps above to stake vvs, I get these transactions:

  • transferring cros from main app to defi app is fine and tracked fine by koinly (though I have to sync crypto .org wallet from the beginning to show it correctly).

  • but after koinly doesn’t track step 2, 3 and 4 but it shows one transaction as a (send) transaction of cro from the crypto.org wallet…

So, koinly isn’t tracking those transactions:

2- transferring cros to cronos using the bridge
3- buying vvs with cronos using vvs finance
4- staking those vvs on the pool

I wonder if we have to do them manually, or there is something I’m missing with the wallets on koinly? I have an address (starts with 0x) on VVS finance app when I go to my wallet, but I tried to add it on koinly with an eth & tokens wallet but it didn’t import any transaction…

What needs to be done more?

Thanks.

Which exchange/wallet is this regarding?

Crypto .com

How did you import data into this wallet?

.CSV file for crypto .com main app wallet - auto sync from crypto .org defi wallet

What have you tried to fix this so far?

I dont have more ideas.

Not sure if you’re still looking for an answer, but… For these transactions to show, Koinly has to support the Cronos chain. Your best bet is to vote for this to be supported in the future here: Add API support for Cronos Chain (Crypto.org EVM sidechain) | Integrations | Koinly

Once (or if…) Koinly supports it, you should be able to add another wallet with the ‘0x’ address you mention in your post, but specifically for that chain, not ETH.

In the meantime, I have decided to keep track of my transactions in a spreadsheet, which I upload to Koinly manually. It’s a hassle, especially since we can’t just import tokens that the tool doesn’t “know” (e.g. LP tokens, but I digress).

Hope this helps.

Hello!

Alex from Koinly here

We are working on Cronos support, and it’s not far off now!
There will be a lot of updates coming soon, so just hang in a bit longer and you should see lots of improvements and added support

Best regards,
Alex
