I have a question about Sale Price Proceed and Cost or other basis.
It shows that it has $43,133 dollars for Proceeds and $43,649 for Cost or other basis. The loss is $516. Does that mean that I did invest $43,000 dollars in the exchange for the year 2021? I am trying to clarify this.
I think I have the same or similar question. I just started with Crypto. I know I only invested $1500 over the course of the year in 2021. My proceeds are over $6000 and my Cost or other basis is over $5000.
I’m not understanding where these numbers come from. Also, my capital gains show a little over $500.
It is simply the sum total of all ur buys (cost basis) and sum total of all your sales (sales proceeds). Nothing to worry about here. my buddy’s is around 700,000$
